Shri Sudeep Shrivastava is the Director General of Education and Research Network (ERNET), India.
He Joint Secretary in Ministry of Electronics and IT and is also holding the charge of Director General, ERNET India. He looks after R&D in IT, CDAC, SAMEER, CCBT, NIELIT, HRD, Coordination and Parliamentary matters in MeitY. He is In-charge of two keys pillars of compute and foundation models in India AI.
He is MTech from IIT Kanpur. He is IRSSE officer and has held important portfolios like ED/GatiShakti in Railways and Director / PMSSY in Ministry of Health and Family Welfare looking after new AIIMS. He has also received National Award for Outstanding Services in Railways.
