Tele-education project- Establishment of Smart Virtual Classrooms in Aspirational District of NER
With the experience gained from implementation of Smart Virtual Classroom across 3204 schools and 50 DIETs, ERNET India has started supporting the other states for establishment/expansion of Smart Virtual Classrooms. In line with the same, ERNET India has been bestowed a project from North Eastern Council (NEC) titled as “Tele-education project- Establishment of Smart Virtual Classrooms in Aspirational District of NER” for setting up of Tele-Education facilities by establishing Smart Virtual Classroom in 75 Schools & 4 DIETs. This project has been successfully implemented as per defined scope of work in all 75 Schools and 4 DIETs of Sikkim and Assam along with central infrastructure in NCR. The operations & maintenance (O&M) is in progress.

More than 357 sessions have been conducted till date.

Successfully conducted operational hands-on training to 2 teachers of each of the 75 Schools and 4 DIETs.
Successfully conducted District Level Science, Mathematics and Environment, Exhibitions for Children 2020 -21 at DIET Gyalshing, Sikkim through installed Smart Virtual Classroom infrastructure in Feb, 2021.
