Video Conferencing

ERNET India has taken up projects for setting up of video conference facility for various Institutions. Under these projects, ERNET India is provisioning video conference equipment consisting of Codec(HD/SD), Camera, Microphone, Display screens(LCD/Plasma) at each of the remote site. The Codec has capabilities to connect on IP as well as on ISDN and also share computer/laptop presentation during video sessions. Wherever required, Multipoint Control Unit has been provisioned so as to conduct multipoint concurrent video conference sessions among multiple sites. ERNET India is implementing the following Video Conference projects:

• VC facility for Govt. of UP at State Capital, 18 Divisions & 1 District of UP with total of 21 sites with MCU & Video Wall.

• High Definition VC facility at 10 locations of Indian Meteorological Department with MCU.

• VC facility at 11 locations of the Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri with MCU.

• Tele-presence based High Definition Video Conference facility at 8 locations of Ministry of Earth Sciences(MoES)
